Erfgoedplatform Heumen

Title projecT

ASK

We have been commissioned by the HAN University of Applied Sciences to develop a multimedia interactive tool for Erfgoedplatform Heumen. This multimedia interactive tool has to take the pedestrians during their walk in Heumen back to the year 1602 at different locations that were important back in the day during the Circumvallation that took place in Heumen.

IDEA

The idea is to create an interactive information board that takes pedestrians back to the year 1602 during their walk. We want to let the user relive the year 1602. The information board will be the first thing that they will see. When coming across one of these information boards during their walk, the user will be able to read, see & experience about the location.

OUTCOME

The interactive information board will let pedestrians experience the year 1602 during the Circumvallation all over again.

The user has the choice to experience even more besides just reading the information board, this will be possible by scanning the QR-code. Through the QR-code the user will be able to experience an AR-experience to relive what happened at the exact location in the year 1602, this will be shown through a compelling story to the year itself.

After this experience the user can experience even more, such as following the walking route and discovering other locations that make up the walk itself. All of this will be supported by an application specially made for the Circumvallation walk.
